Motorola Defy Pro revealed

Motorola Defy Pro revealedYou all know the Motorola Defy and Motorola Defy+, right? And you know what happens when you throw a “Pro” on the end of a smartphone name, right?

Yep, the Motorola Defy just done gone and got itself a keyboard, mang. Meet the Motorola Defy Pro.

Screw up your eyes, and you’d be forgiven for thinking you were looking at a BlackBerry Bold Touch. The Motorola Defy Pro’s 2.7in display sits atop a full QWERTY keyboard.

Like the rest of the Defy range, the Motorola Defy Pro laughs in the face of water, scratches (thanks to Gorilla glass) and dust.

Other Motorola Defy Pro specs include a 5MP rear camera, “flawless chrome finish”, VPN support, and a modest 2GB internal storage (augmentable via microSD).

At present, the Motorola Defy Pro appears to be an exclusive to – where else? – Brazil, hitting shelves in Blanka's home country on July 15.

No mention of a release outside Brazil just yet. You bothered?

what's the resolution? In line with other Android qwerty bars? or 220x176?

God I hope not... Has to be at least 320x240 doesn't it?
Preferably double that... Too often they end up compromising these phones orirginal aims by trying to expand the reach...
