The Motorola Moto 360 is easily one of the most talked about Android smartwatches to date, despite – or perhaps because of – the lack of official info.
We’re still waiting for Moto 360 specifics (price, release date, specs), and in the meantime seeing a ton of new pics, several of those coming from a well-respected and now-retired leakster.
A couple of Moto 360 pics from out east are relayed by PhoneArena (among others), and the headline here is that they suggest it’s plastic rather than metal.
Purely conjecture at this stage, of course, and Motorola has previously said that the Moto 360 will be made from stainless steel.
Further vague negativity suggests the Moto 360’s thickness is a meaty 13.5mm, largely on account of its wireless charging capabilities. If true, that’d be a fair bit thicker than the 9.9mm LG G Watch and 8.9mm Samsung Gear Live.
Furthermore, the Moto 360’s diameter is tipped to be 48mm, which is pretty huge, but I don’t think there was much doubt that it was on the large side anyway.
Finally, @evleaks (Evan Nelson Blass) pitches in with a Moto 360 gallery, and that in fact marks his last ever leak. Seemingly the leak game isn’t paying off (a lot of his visitors are tech-savvy ad blockers, for example), and having been diagnosed with MS, he has to think about the future.
And so ends his two-year run as one of the most respected leak machines in the business. Good luck to you, sir.
