Motorola Moto G 4G price drop: £99 from Tesco starting Monday

Motorola Moto G 4G price drop: £99 from Tesco starting MondayThe Motorola Moto G 4G remains an utterly fantastic buy for £115 at Tesco Direct, but one of the sweetest deals in mobile is about to get even sweeter.

Starting Monday, you’ll be able to grab the Motorola Moto G 4G for a quid under £100, or £99 if you prefer. As Johnny Bravo would say: Woah, mama!

The Motorola Moto G 4G is one of three models of Moto G, the others being the first- and second-gen Moto G (or Moto G 2014).

Originally launched alongside the Moto E, the Motorola Moto G 4G addresses the major shortcomings of the first-gen Moto G, specifically the omission of expandable storage and lack of 4G compatibility. Neat.

With the second-gen Motorola Moto G arguably being a little big at 5in, the Motorola Moto G 4G is very much a fan favourite.

Other Motorola Moto G 4G specs include a 4.5in display (720 x 1280), quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera. 1.3MP front camera, and 2,070mAh battery.

The Motorola Moto G 4G price drop will come into play both in-store and via Tesco Direct, where you can grab the phone with free delivery. The Moto G 4G comes locked to Tesco Mobile, but can be unlocked for just a few quid on eBay.

Smashing smartphone, have had mine for over 6 months now and absolutely love it. Beautiful screen, really enjoy watching movies on it. And a classy design. Only negative is the camera. But who cares for £99.
