Do you think Motorola will make the next next Nexus?

Now that Google has acquired Motorola, do you think Google will use them exclusively to make Nexus phones? Even though Samsung might do a better job ;o)

This is where Google need to be very careful.
They could find themselves with a reputational headache if they favour 'their' handsets over competitors for updates etc......
Then along comes HTC's and Samsung's own* O/S
*bought in is more likeley (meego, webos etc)
It's one thing to have a phone 'badged' google, but to be actually made by them? I await with baited breath.

Good point, mrew. Of course, Microshaft is in a similar situation with Nokia. I'm sure WP7 makers will look closely at what freedoms MS grants Nokia to make WP7 more, well, Nokian...

Maybe Google were more interested in Moto's patent portfolio (not that long ago, Samsung and Moto were the leading touchscreen phone makers - thanks to winmo largely)...

Also, a Moto Nexus might be risky considering that outside the US Empire Moto lost its mojo...
