Three new Motorola phones leaked

Three new Motorola phones leakedHoward Forums stalwart wnrussell has provided a series of shots seemingly showing three brand new phones from Motorola. There’s the Droid X 2, the Droid 3, and a spanking new handset - pictured above - apparently codenamed the Motorola Targa.

The Motorola Droid is the US name for the phone. It was released in the UK as the Motorola Milestone. The Droid and Droid 2 feature QWERTY keyboards, while the Droid X is a large-screened beast.

The Motorola Droid X2 and Droid 3 will, in all likelihood, boast modest improvements over their predecessors, but the Motorola Targa is a tad more exciting.

The Motorola Targa is pictured with a hump on its back, supposedly housing a 13MP camera. There’s also speculation that it’ll have quad-core processing goodness. Cripes. Nice chrome action around the side, too. Of course, it'll be Android-based. What else?

One member on the forum reckons the shots were faked, but he was immediately mauled. Long-time member wnrussell points out that he posted the first images of the Droid and Xoom.

Meanwhile, in the UK, we're still awaiting the release date for the bloomin' Motorola Atrix.
