Motorola Pro+ finally lands in the UK

Motorola Pro+ finally lands in the UKOne year ago, in November 2010, our transatlantic cousins got their hands on a little something called the Motorola Droid Pro, a sexy little candybar QWERTY.

As far back as Mobile World Congress in February this year, we were told that the Motorola Pro was coming to the UK. Things then went quiet for bloomin’ ages before the enhanced Motorola Pro+ was announced.

Now the Motorola Pro+ has finally touched down. You can pick one up for £322.80 from online retailer Clove.

“The portrait QWERTY keyboard has been popularised by BlackBerry handsets and is loved by both business and social users,” begins the Clove description. “Take the popularity of this form factor and add the Android OS to it and you've got the great looking device that is the Motorola Pro Plus.”

In spec city, we’ve got a 3.1in touchscreen above that full QWERTY, scratch-proof Gorilla glass, 4GB internal storage (expandable via micro SD), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth goodness, and a 5MP camera with LED flash.

The Motorola Pro+ ships with Gingerbread (Android 2.3), and video is captured at 480p.

Sounds pretty good to us.

If i didn't have two phones atm i'd buy this (or import the Atrix 2) right now! Design is awesome.

Just wish motorola treat europe better though, i'd have liked to have seen this phone released last year as well, if not that, then at least with better specs (dual core/camera) after a year of being released outside the uk.
