Motorola promises more Atrix-style dock action

Motorola promises more Atrix-style dock actionMotorola debuted its Atrix smartphone back at the CES in Vegas last January, boasting that it was “the world’s most powerful smartphone”. That may no longer be the case, but it still looks pretty sweet.

We were mightily impressed when we finally got our hands on the Motorola Atrix one month later at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, largely due to the cool stuff it can do with its range of docks. Now Motorola promises we’ll see more of the same in future.

“You will see multiple devices from us in the second half launching with these capabilities, and we will expand the range of our Lapdock devices so we cover a broader price point, addressing both the enterprise premium tier as well as more consumer tiers,” said Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha.

That’s great news, obviously, but we’re still waiting for the bloomin’ Motorola Atrix over here. It’s been out in the States for ages, and finally arrives in the UK this month courtesy of Orange.

I don't know... in a months or 2 it'll be just another next-gen Androids - with very expensive accessories. I don't see the appeal o_O
