The UK and the US share relatively few phones, in fact the best/newest phones tend to be released in the UK first, take the Galaxy S2 for example, it's still not available (apart from specialist import retailers), in the US yet. Motorola tend not to release many of their phones in the UK, there's no real reason for this, I'd assume it's just because they're a US based company and have a far larger market share in the US and they're happy to stick with that rather than risk making a mess of things in Europe. Though they're entirely my words and views, not those of Motorola Mobility. Also, things may change in Europe when Google actually buy Motorola Mobility, when the deal has been approved.
