One of the things that bothers us about Motorola is its lazy attitude towards releasing its wares over here in the UK. Phones like the Droid 3 simply never appear, while the likes of the Motorola Pro took almost a year to sail across the Atlantic.
But what’s this? The Motorola RAZR, officially announced last night, is scheduled to arrive in the UK in less than two weeks. What the f…?
The Clove Blog revealed: “Following Motorola’s announcement of the Droid RAZR, we can confirm that we are expecting the UK variant, the Motorola RAZR, to arrive into stock on November 1st, priced at £379 (454.80 inc. VAT).”
We’re not sure if this new attitude is part of some Googorola plan to seduce UK consumers, but we ain’t complainin’.
The “impossibly thin” Motorola RAZR is just 7.1mm thick, with a 4.3in display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, and 1080p video recording capabilities.
It’ll apparently ship with Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), but presumably an update to Ice Cream Sandwich will follow shortly.
