Motorola recently unveiled a trio of new Razr smartphones over in the States, namely the Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD, and Razr M. They look pretty decent, actually.
Somewhat bizarrely, it seems we’re only getting the latter chap, repackaged as the Motorola Razr i and powered by a 2GHz dual-core Intel processor (instead of the dual-core Snapdragon S4), and now le UK pricing has been revealed.
According to Pocket-lint, Virgin Media will sell the Motorola Razr i on its Premiere tariff from £23PM, while Orange and T-Mobile customers can grab it for free on “select £31 per month two-year contracts”.
Of course, none of that means a great deal without drilling down into the various combinations of minutes and texts and data and what have you.
Perhaps a more interesting/immediate indicator is the SIM free price over on Expansys. The online retailer will sell the Motorola Razr i for £344.99 in black or white. Clove is a few quid cheaper at £342.
Tesco and Phones 4u have yet to reveal their Motorola Razr i contract prices, though the latter invites you to Register Your Interest.
The Motorola Razr i has a near edge-to-edge 4.3in display, 8MP rear camera, NFC (Near Field Communication), a 2,000mAh battery, and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Not too shabby.
