Motorola X-Phone benchmarked with Key Lime Pie Android 5.0.1?

Motorola X-Phone benchmarked with Key Lime Pie Android 5.0.1?There’s been plenty of talk of the Google Motorola X-Phone this year, but to date the only concrete evidence we’ve encountered is a Motorola job listing on LinkedIn.

Well, there’s still nothing concrete, but in the meantime, feast your eyes on this benchmark, which appears to reveal (ahem) a Motorola X-Phone running the imminent new version of Android, namely Key Lime Pie.

Benchmark stuff can of course be faked, but what we’re supposedly looking at is the Google X (presumably the Motorola X-Phone) running Android 5.0.1.

The jury's still out on whether or not the Motorola X-Phone will be an official Nexus device, but the Google X name suggests that that might be the case.

Both the Motorola X-Phone and Key Lime Pie were tipped to launch at Google I/O next month, but more recently we’ve heard that both have been delayed. Sonofa…

The Motorola X-Phone in particular will supposedly be released in "August or later", which makes the notion of a May launch highly unlikely.

Meanwhile, Martin was saying yesterday that Key Lime Pie has been delayed “by 2-4 months”, in order to allow OEMs to continue rolling out Jelly Bean updates.

In addition, we’re told to forget the rumoured Nexus 5 and instead expect a 32GB Nexus 4 with LTE at Google I/O.

Depressing stuff. But in any case, Google I/O 2013 gets underway on May 15, just under three weeks from now.
