How do you move HTC Wildfire apps to SD card?

I need to free up memory. How do I put HTC Wildfire apps on the SD card?

You need Froyo (Android 2.2 ) on your HTC Wildfire in order to move apps to the SD card.
Any apps you do not really need? What heavy apps have you got installed?

I have 2.1, guess I need to upgrade. How do you know if they're "heavy" apps ?

Well, some apps take up plenty of space compared to other, similar apps. For example: Opera Mobile 11 almost whops in at 20 MB though it's really just about half of it what you use. Opera deliver the Arm 5 and Arm 7 version wrapped into the installer package. Other 3rd party browsers are much lighter because they use the core Android browser engine. Sometimes there are alternatives to 'heavy' apps. Also, HTC's sense UI comes with pretty heavy wallpapers - deleting them can free up space for proper apps.

Interesting article here by Opera - it explains why Opera 11 for Android 'wastes' so much space, and offers some solutions http://www.my.opera.com/operamobile/blog/the-components-of-opera-mobile-11-on-android
