Can I move to a different network and keep the same number?

I’m with O2 at the moment and thinking about going to a different network. My signal is really low. Anyway, I don’t want to change number cause I’ve had the same one for years. Is there any way to keep it, or do I have to stay with O2?

You can keep your number.
Moving from one network to the other while keeping your number is called 'porting'. Here is some info about porting AWAY from O2

If signal strength is your main concern, I'd also advise using a coverage checker prior to obtaining your PAC number so you can get an idea of how the other networks fair.
Here's one:

Because coverage checkers are not always accurate, I'd also advise checking the network/phone providers returns policy with regard to poor/no coverage before committing to anything new.

good idea, mmbeak ;)

ideally, borrow someone's phones for the desired network and try it in your fav places. (according to Three's coverage map I get high-speed broadband. On a good day I get 250 kbs for 5 minutes a piece)
