The Samsung Galaxy S II is available now in the UK from Phones4u, and officially launches on Vodafone, O2 and Three on May 1.
But don’t get your wallet out just yet. Everyone’s favourite Russian blogger, Eldar Murtazin, claims that the Samsung Galaxy S III is coming later in the year.
Murtazin made his claim via Twitter. He reckons the Korean manufacturer is upping its productivity to compete with the iPhone, and plans to release a new flagship smartphone every six to eight months.
Eldar has a reputation for exclusives, and for occasionally talking mince. Given that the Samsung Galaxy S II is riding the cutting edge of the tech wave, we’ll take this one with a pinch of delicious salt.
The Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3in display, 8MP camera and dual-core 1.2GHz processor. As such, we wouldn’t worry about being left behind, even if a Samsung Galaxy S III does appear in autumn.
