Martin detailed the Huawei MediaPad X1 earlier this morning, so it’s over to yours truly to cover, well, all the other bits and bobs from the world’s number-three smartphone manufacturer.
We have the Huawei MediaPad M1 tablet (pictured), the Ascend G6 4G smartphone, the E5786 “world’s fastest” Mi-Fi, and the TalkBand B1 fitness tracker. Phew!
Starting with the Huawei MediaPad M1, specs include an 8in IPS display (800 x 1280), 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, Jelly Bean Android 4.2, 8GB or 16GB internal storage (with microSD), and a 4,800mAh battery.
Like the Huawei MediaPad X1, the MediaPad M1 comes with LTE SIM support, so you can make calls and send text messages from the 8in beast.
Huawei MediaPad M1 availability is penciled in for May, and it’s described by some as a cross between the iPad mini and HTC One. Not too shabby.
Moving onto the Huawei Ascend G6 4G smartphone, specs include a 4.5in 960 x 540 display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera for “selfies” (sorry), Jelly Bean Android 4.3, and – as revealed by the name – LTE connectivity.
The phone will go on sale in the UK in April, but there’s no word on Huawei Ascend G6 4G price just yet. Probably safe to say it won’t break the bank, however.
Rounding off Huawei’s MWC 2014 line-up, there’s the E5786 “world’s fastest” Mi-Fi, with a 3,000mAh battery (10 hours of use) and download speeds of up to 300Mbps; and TalkBand B1 Bluetooth fitness tracker, which comes with a removable earpiece and compatibility with both iOS and Android.
