Also at MWC: First Android Tablet with USB 3 port

Away from all the usual suspects showing their "stuff' (quote, Lewis Curdie), some eagle-eyed techies spotted the Sruta tablet PC which is the first Android tablet in the world to come with a USB 3.0 port.

It's a 7in tablet rumoured to launch with a £170-ish price-tag.

Interesting stuff, although even with a class 10 card, theoretically there should be at least double the head-room in terms of USB 2 bandwidth, so this is probably more catered to phones with integrated memory.

Wonder if it charges quicker too, because USB 3 supports a higher maximum power output!

I'm sure other tablet makers will follow suit soon.
Obviously that demo unit is an early prototype - the screen is supposed to be better, etc etc...
Come to think of it - why did I even post this? :p

I'd still rather have the laptop in the photo instead of the tablet, USB port or not :p.
