Nexus 4 worth the wait? Or should I get a Galaxy S3?

This has been done many times, I know, but is it worth waiting for the N4? I've wanted one for a long time now, and the 16GB memory is fine with me. But I have a friend coming from the USA in March, and with exchange rates the way they are, I can ask them to buy an S3 for me and pay around £340. So is the N4 worth the wait?

I'd get the S3. Remember, the US S3 has a dual-core Qualcomm chip, not the quad-core Exynos chip we have over here in Europe.

S3 Unlocked £348 at current rate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875176348

US and UK versions are identical.

It's hard to tell when Nexus 4 will show up in stock again. Could be a safer bet to go with Galaxy S3.

What you've linked to isn't a US version, it's the unlocked, international version being sold in the US. Completely different to the US versions, which do have S4 processors (and 2GB of RAM, for what it's worth).

Wait til a week before they come and look at options by then, could be something else catches your eye by then or prices change anyway
