This is all getting a bit too exciting for us now because apparently, the specs of the forthcoming Nexus Prime have been leaked to GSM Arena by an anonymous Google insider - and they really are droolicious!
Are you ready?
Sitting down? (advisable)
OK, here we go:
Firstly, Samsung's own chipset will make an appearance. It'll be blazingly fast with a dual core processor running at 1.5GHZ. Nice.
That's just the foreword.
Said chipset will hold a powerful dual-core GPU courtesy of imagination. Without getting into the minute of it all, it looks like it'll be the same one that powers the iPad 2. It'll be LTE enabled but also both GSM and CDMA so, in other words, an (almost) world phone.
Similarly to the Galaxy S2, it'll come with an 8MP camera on board (quashing rumours on BGR that it would be limited to 5MP) and also full 1080 HD video.
Screen-wise, it's a beauty. 4.65-inches, with a 1280x720 pixel resolution. This thing is gonna burn your eyes with its gorgeousness.
And the icing on the Ice Cream Sandwich is: this baby should keep going like a Duracell bunny on espresso number 12 because the battery is even bigger than we initially expected at 2050mAh.
Of course, because this is a leak (allegedly), we have to take it with the required pinch of salt. But we imagine GSM Arena will have checked out their source and also, Samsung have promised us "Something BIG" is coming.
Eitherway, just a few days 'til the 11th October announcement. If our nerves can take it! EDIT: not any more. Boo!
