Nexus Prime launch moved to October 19?

Nexus Prime launch moved to October 19?The Google Nexus Prime should have been unveiled in San Diego yesterday but that launch was postponed - presumably out of respect for Steve Jobs following his death last week.

Google and Samsung said they didn't feel it was the "right time" - but apparently, October 19 will feel like the right time, according to an anonymous tipster who's had a word in the ear of Engadget.

The previous favourite had been for the event to happen in London on October 27 but now, we're hearing the event has been shifted to Hong Kong to coincide with the AsiaD: All Things Digital event due to take place there.

The 19th certainly sounds better to us since we're so eager to get our grubby mitts on it. And it tallies more with the words of Samsung's Sales Director, Andrew Glass who yesterday said: “you will have an announcement of the Nexus Prime very shortly and will be seeing it in shops sooner than you think.”

We have the credit card lined up and the excuse ready for the bank manager! It's justifiable when you look at those specs!
