Nokia 'Batman' to be uncloaked as the Lumia 1320 at Nokia World?

Nokia has promised six new devices for Nokia World on October 22, almost certain to be headed up by the Lumia 1520 phablet and Lumia 2520 tablet (though the final names may differ).

We've also heard talk of the Lumia 525, or the “Glee”, and now comes rumours of a fourth possible release, codenamed “Batman”, which will slot in just above the low-end Lumia 625 and will be known as the Lumia 1320.

Wait, hang on – the Lumia 1320? We're not sure in what world that makes any sense, but @evleaks insists that's what the Batman will be launched as, so who are we to argue?

Leaving the name alone for now, The Verge tells us the Batman will be a large-screened, low-priced device along the lines of the 4.7in Lumia 625, and will be marketed as the “top low-end Windows Phone”.

The site's unnamed insider sources don't seem to have too many actual specs to hand, but we are told the cameras will be restricted to a 5MP/VGA double-act. Low end indeed. At least it'll come with the Nokia Camera software.

It all sounds reasonably plausible, though we still have serious reservations about it being called the Lumia 1320. Whatever the case, let's hope it's on the menu come October 22.

No no no! It's like the Lumia 725 meets 1020 meets 820 meets 925

Fair enough... And imho you're not far off - with the exception of the 925/1020 because of their cams
