Details of an all-new Nokia business phone have just appeared online, suggesting the new E-Series offering may make an appearance at next month's Mobile World Congress.
MyNokiaBlog has managed to get its hands on a Nokia user agent file, which lists a fair few specs from the new handset, including the name E6-00.
While we still have no images of the E6-00 to go on just yet, we can still tell quite a lot from the info provided.
There's a full QWERTY keyboard on board – no surprise there, given the BlackBerry-esque form factor of other E-Series offerings. But while the E6-00 is primarily aimed at the business user, Nokia looks to have added in a fair old dash of multimedia goodness too.
The touchscreen display is listed as having a 640 x 480 resolution, making it the most high-res E-Series phone so far, and there's also an 8-megapixel phone on board too, which should see it take the honours as the best camera-phone in the boardroom by some way.
On the downside, it looks like Symbian 3 is being dusted off for another tour of duty, although to be fair the much-maligned OS has done a capable job on the Nokia N8.
All will no doubt be revealed at Mobile World Congress next month. Of course, judging by Nokia's recent efforts that means probably another six months before the E6-00 actually goes on sale, though we'll be quite happy to be proved wrong.
