Nokia E7 open for pre-orders

Nokia E7 open for pre-ordersThe business-oriented Nokia E7 is now - finally - available for pre-order directly from the Nokia website. No exact date is given, but it’ll start shipping at some point in April.

The Nokia E7 is a QWERTY slider, with a 4in touchscreen (640x360), 8MP camera and 16GB of on-board storage. It’ll run Symbian 3, and could very well be the last big Symbian release before Windows Phone 7 takes centre stage.

You can pick up the Nokia E7 for £35PM on Vodafone or £35.74PM on T-Mobile. Both contracts are 24 months.

Alternatively, the Nokia E7 is available for £469 on PAYG or £499 SIM free.

I'd be surprised if Nokia didn't release something "big" in thr run-up to Christmas ;) Something Symbian...

yeah, you did :p
I actually just gave up on a Blackberry Bold 9780 (after various Androids and iPhones), and I'm now passing the time with a Nokia C7. You know what: it does everything I need, and it does it rather well. So E7, come to daddy!!! :D (in a couple of months I can then moan about Nokia. win-win LOL)

If the phone like Blackberry bold2 is not good enough I don't know what is. I genuinely don't think this Nokia will do better job than Blackberry in many ways....

oh, the Bold 9780 is perfectly fine, but I rely on Skype - which is pretty poor on BBs ;) Also, I cannot 'do' without Opera Mini, and Opera MIni 5 was a disaster on the Blackberry OS, and Opera Mini 4 lacks a couple of features!
Not dissing the Blackberry Bold 9780 at all - GREAT phone. But the Nokia E7 has a few things that I need - flash capable browser, easier tethering, USB-OTG is a nice extra, and excellent performance with Opera's mobile browsers ;) (plus a lot more). As I said, it may also become a disappointment. hahaha

Ha! Call me psychic: Nokia promise new high-end devices with "GHz+" processing power and updated Symbian OS -»»
