Is the Nokia Lumia 1020 the best camera phone on the market?

Is the Nokia Lumia 1020 the best camera phone on the market? Are the pictures noticeably better than those of a Samsung Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5s?

ABSO-f*&king-LUTELY! Different league.
Having said that: Many Android's and the iPhones beat it in convenience and ease of use.
The Lumia camera apps are pretty darn convoluted affairs. You don't take a photo, you design one :p
If you like to point and shoot - be it video or stills - and you expect decent quality under any circumstances quickly, get an iPhone 5/5S or a high-end Galaxy or HTC.

But if you want to take truly stunning pictures that can hold their ground beside pictures taken with dedicated cameras, buy a Lumia 925, 1020 or even a Pureview 808.

Check out these pics http://www.noknok.tv/2013/10/14/top-10-stunning-nokia-lumia-1020-pureview-photos-need-see/ or => http://www.nokia.com/global/experience/photography/nat-geo-lumia1020/

And I kid you not: I've seen photos taken with the 1020 by complete lay people that are absolutely fantastic.

For the camera? Lumia 1020 or Lumia 925.
But what other features are important to you?
There are still some missing apps in the WP environment.

Also: do you use Windows on your PC or laptop? Or a Mac? Linux?

WP devices are not that nice to manage on a Mac. There's Microsoft's sync app for Mac OS, but it's not perfect.
