More Nokia-flavoured news to go with those wireless charging rumours we've just surfaced, and this is of a far more practical sort: the company's second Windows Phone, the Lumia 710, is now officially on sale in the UK.
The Lumia 710 was announced alongside the Lumia 800 at Nokia World back in October, but while the 800 was fairly quick to get out the door, it's taken all of three months for its little brother to follow suit.
Nokia earned kudos for having not one but two new Windows Phone to show off in October – some naysayers were predicting it would be 2012 before we'd see anything at all, let's not forget.
But, for us in the UK at least, the Lumia 710 was a casual spectator on the sidelines while Nokia focused all its efforts (and a pretty big marketing budget) on pushing the 800 in the run-up to Christmas.
Specs-wise, we're talking a 1.4GHz single-core processor, 3.7in WVGA ClearBlack display, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, and an 1,300mAh battery.
All the main networks are on board to offer the handset – you can find out more on price plans and availability directly from Nokia.
