Nokia Lumia 928 gets official ahead of announcement

Nokia Lumia 928 gets official ahead of announcementThe Nokia Lumia 920 is exclusive to AT&T over in the States, but Verizon Wireless is on the verge of getting its own cheeky variant called the Nokia Lumia 928.

There still hasn’t been a formal unveiling, but the Nokia Lumia 928 is going official-leak crazy, with no less than three separate appearances over the past few days.

Appearance the first is detailed on My Nokia Blog, with a Nokia Lumia 928 billboard in the middle of nowhere claiming: “The best low-light smartphone camera.” How bizarre.

Moving over to Engadget, we have a Vanity Fair magazine spread, promising PureView and Carl Zeiss goodness.

Finally, the Finns have added a Nokia Lumia 928 page to the US portion of Nokia.com. It doesn’t give much/anything away, simply advising: “Stay tuned for updates about the newest Nokia Lumia”. That we will.

Admittedly the Nokia Lumia 928 isn’t hugely exciting for us in the UK. Instead, we’re eagerly anticipating May 14 (a week today, incidentally), when we’ll hopefully meet the Nokia Catwalk and Nokia EOS.

I never leave the house without a decent low-light camera :p

Nah, I was impressed by the HTC One's camera in low light... so low, in fact, that neither the Samsung Galaxy Camera or the iPhone 5 saw anything without the flash. The One still produced something identifiable without flash... So.
