Nokia's New Dawn?

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_c1_is_the_companys_first_postmicrosoft_android_phone-news-10552.php Supposedly a new concept could be Nokia's green shoots after Microsoft. If that phone does come out like the concept with a competitive price, it could be a good seller.

Thoughts?

My thoughts? Nope... But:

Update
Sadly, it appears that both images that showed up today are actually fan-based illustrations. The first one has been inspired by the Nokia N1 tablet, while the second is actually a conceptual render based on the Nokia N900 which ran on MeeGo***. So no, this is not Nokia's first post-Microsoft acquisition smartphone.

Until 2016 Nokia isn't allowed to sell Nokia smartphones. Tablets like the N1? Yes. Phones? Nope. So.... I'm sure they will get Foxconn or Pegatron to churn out something come that day in 2016. The C1? No...

Aah, that explains the extra caution in the article lol.

Microsoft really did a number on Nokia. :(

Bad Elop, Very Bad! :(

Well... it wouldn't make sense to buy/sell Nokia to then have 2 companies making Nokia phones... I can understand that aspect. And frankly: it's all good to speculate how things would have ended had Nokia gone for Android ASAP, but really: do we need another Android phone range? It's a bit late imho... Although - the Z launcher and some other things show that the Nokia team is still doing some stuff very well.
