The Nokia Lumia 610 was originally unveiled at Mobile World Congress, way back in February. Those were the days...
Fast forward three months and we’ve finally got an official Lumia 610 release date, straight from the Finnish pony’s mouth. Stick the “first week in June” in your diaries, chaps.
The date was announced at a Nokia event in the fancy Trafalgar Hotel, and relayed by the peeps at Know Your Mobile.
The SIM free price for the Lumia 610 is unknown, but Nokia reps reckon we’re talking £15 per month on a 24-month contract.
Of course, the higher-specced Nokia Lumia 710 is one of the best phones in its price range, regularly going for around £130 on PAYG.
Nokia Lumia 610 specs include a 3.7in display (480 x 800), 800MHz processor, 5MP rear camera (nothing on the front, unfortunately), and 8GB internal storage.
It’ll mark the debut of Windows Phone Tango, which essentially paves the way for lower specs. The Nokia Lumia 610 has just 256MB of RAM, meaning some Windows Phone features won’t be compatible.
