Nokia X6 - tethering and Orange Tsunami questions

Morning all, received my nokia x6 from the recent tesco deal and happy so far, but just wanted to check a couple of things out…

• want to look at using my data allowance from my phone on my iPod touch. Seen an application called JoikuSpot which seems to do what I want.
Wondered if anybody had any experience they could share, good or bad.
I've seen people commenting about getting permission form their networks before doing stuff like this, is this right??

• Also I quite like the look of the Orange Tsunami homescreen theme, tho it seems a little bit of faff getting it on, again before I go ahead, has anyone any experience using it, has it affected phone performance etc…

Any info people have would be appreciated
Thanks

JoikuSpot works perfectly turning your nokia into a wireless access point. Even the free version works - shows Ovi page as first page once when starting to browse. In my experience, if you use for general browsing with no excessive downloads you might get away with it. If you use it excessively then it is more likely that the network will act on your usage. Some networks are offering tariffs (pay as you go and contract) which allow tethering.
