There are several sticks Nokia's critics use to beat the Finnish firm with, and one of them is the length of time it takes to get new products from product announcement to store shelves.
So it's with cautious optimism that we report sighting the Nokia X7, which first broke cover just last month, in Three's Coming Soon section, labelled with a June launch date.
The X7 was announced last month alongside the Nokia E6, with both debuting the latest Anna update to Symbian^3. It comes with a 4in AMOLED touchscreen, an 8-megapixel camera with 720p video shooting abilities, and a bold design featuring stainless steel construction.
When we first reported on the X7 we dutifully passed on the Q2 release date we were given, but it looks like so far that's a promise Nokia's on track to keep. Three's Coming Soon page doesn't go into any details, but lists a June launch date that would keep that promise – just.
Of course, we'll hold fire on the celebrations until we actually see the X7 in the flesh. The memory of the endless delays to the Nokia E7 appearing are still a little too fresh in our minds for comfort.
