The Samsung Galaxy S2 has NO notifications LED. You get the usual taskbar notifications and some on the lockscreen. But that's it.

BackLight Notifications offers some additional alertness.

There's no LED, but you get used to not having one, my Desire had one and I manage fine without one on my S2.

I find most notification lights annoying, actually.
The Acer Liquid Mt, ironically, has the beat, most elegant solution imho.

The LM has what?

The LM has what?
It has 3 notification icons at the top. Very subtle.

That's brilliant, It's a shame the S2 is so thin, it could do with a system like that. I have to hand it to Acer, that's a genuinely awesome idea. If only they hadn't fitted the phone with an odd plastic screen... :(

Try NOLED from the market, it displays an icon on the screen for text, email etc, due to the amoled screen, it does not run down your battery.

Setup could be easier, but once done, it is a really elegant solution
