Can you get a numeric keypad keyboard for Android?

I prefer typing on numeric keypad, just habit I suppose. Can I get a keyboard like that for Android instead of full qwerty? Or would it eat up too much screen?

Menu, Settings, Language & Keyboard, Keyboard Types - Then select Phone Keypad instead of QWERTY.
That gives you the traditional numeric input keypad.

That does not work on my new motorola defy. I only get the choice of swype or multi-touch keyboard (which only allows qwerty)
Any more ideas?
