We heard yesterday that the Nokia Lumia 920 will be exclusive to EE and Phones 4u in the UK. Hey, we’re sure Nokia knows what it’s doing. Ahem.
In further exclusive news type stuff, we’re hearing that O2 will be the only UK network to offer the LG-built Nexus 4 for the first month.
The news comes as somewhat of a surprise, as last week’s Carphone Warehouse leak listed both O2 and Vodafone as Nexus 4 carriers. Poor Vodafone.
As a cheeky bonus, O2 will throw in an LG television for the first 100 customers snapping up an LG Nexus 4.
There’s also a slightly bizarre promotion inviting customers to scale the O2 Arena, in order to buy a Nexus 4 while looking out across London and freezing to death. The Telefonica-owned network did something similar with the iPhone 5.
The LG Nexus 4 initially disappointed readers when it was revealed that internal storage is limited to 8GB or 16GB with no microSD compatibility.
However, the LG Nexus 4 price softens the blow (and then some), as it’ll go for £239 or £279 with 8GB or 16GB storage respectively. That’s not too shabby for a 4.7in phone with a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and Nexus branding.
