Is the O2 network good?

I'm slightly concerned that O2 and giffgaff and Tesco Mobile all use the same network. What's data like for example?

Depends where you live, if you're in a city then you'll have the latest HSPA technology.....but then so will 16million other people on the network, so congestion can be an issue. On the other hand the GSM900 band will mean that you should be able to make a call pretty much everywhere.

So, if you're planning on doing voice things O2 is great. If your planning on doing data things then stick to a network designed for that, like Three or T-Mobile.
