Octo-core Samsung Galaxy S5

Can you get the Octo-core Samsung Galaxy S5 in the UK? Is it faster than the Qualcomm model?

You'll be able to buy one, but it may well have to be a grey import. Whether it's faster or not is pretty much irrelevant; if it is, it's by an amount so small that only a synthetic benchmark will be able to tell the difference. It's not worth going to the effort of acquiring the Exynos version over the much more widely available Snapdragon version, even if it is faster (which I'm not sure whether it is or not).

I don't think there is anything faster/more power efficient than Snapdragon. None of current ARM Cortex chips can beat Snapdragons. Only Apple is able to pose any competition to Qualcomm.
You can get more performance from Cortex A system by pushing power requirements, which can only be done in a large tablet with sufficient battery.

Thanks, I've pretty much given up staying up to date with which high end SoCs are most powerful. It seems that all high end phones run without any real lag these days, so it's pretty much irrelevant.
