Is there an official Android Hotmail app?

There are loads on the Android Market but they all seem to be third party..

I'd recommend, (if you can without massive upheaval), switching to GMail instead of Hotmail. Firstly there's an offical Android app installed on all Android phones and secondly, you'll get far less spam and junk mail, well in my experience anyway. Hotmail is an absolute pig to get working fully and properly on every mobile OS I can think of.

No, afaik there is no official hotmail app for Android. Cynics might say: "good thing, too" - because Microsoft can't even make hotmail work on windows phone :p

Anyhow, this app works okay ;)

App or no app, I stand by hotmail being a crap email service, I'll still be sticking with GMail.

I use Live (e.g. Hotmail) and I think its excellent. Way better than my old Yahoo account :)

blizzard, seriously?????????

I never ever managed to get more than 2 days of flaw-free usage out of a hotmail account on a mobile phone. Regardless of OS - winmo5 through to WP7, Android, Symbian etc etc... nothing but trouble.

I've got it synced up to my HTC Mail app and it hasn't missed a beat. Call me oblivious but I don't see what the fuss is about :) My Yahoo account works fine, but the spam is getting ridiculous, Gmail seems like it would be good, but I haven't used it as a permanent account before.
