You might better know the GT-I9300 as the Samsung Galaxy S III, Sammo’s latest and greatest Android smartphone, complete with quad-core and PenTile goodness.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on said smartphone, you might fancy a virtual flick through the official GT-I9300 manual. ‘Citing.
Indeed, the manual arrives on t’interweb in an official capacity, not through a cheeky leak but appearing on the Samsung Download Center. Oh Samsung, you big tease.
Probably the section that’s of most interest concerns the Samsung Galaxy S III’s various gestures (or “motions”, if you prefer). Interestingly, they’re all off by default.
Among others, there’s ‘Hold to ear’ (hold the Samsung Galaxy S III to your ear and it’ll automatically call the on-screen contact), ‘Tilt to zoom’, ‘Pan to move’ and ‘Pan to browse’.
‘Double-tap’, meanwhile, has absolutely nothing to do with Zombieland, but instead allows you to jump to the top of a list by – you guessed it – double-tapping the top of your Samsung Galaxy S III.
Exciting stuff. Is anyone actually buying a Samsung Galaxy S III? Two weeks to go…
