In the absence of anything official, the Samsung Galaxy S III rumours continue to flow thick and fast. Last we heard, it supposedly does have a Home button, and a five-column icon layout.
Now OLED Association has dished some dirt on – you guessed it – the Samsung Galaxy S III’s display.
Seemingly the Samsung Galaxy S III will weigh in at 4.6in, which is actually a slither - 0.05in - smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Interesting.
It’ll also rock a Super AMOLED HD+ display, which means controversial Pentile technology won’t be in effect. For an incredibly, erm, thorough debate about Pentile, check out this Mobot discussion.
Finally, OLED Association mentions May as the Samsung Galaxy S III release date. Yeah, that’s pretty much what everyone’s thinking at the mo.
Other rumoured Samsung Galaxy S III specs include a camera in the 8 or 12MP vicinity, with 1080p video capture, and a quad-core Exynos processor. Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is pretty much a given at this stage.
