OnePlus One UK release

Is the OnePlus One getting an official release in the UK? Is it available to buy anywhere yet?

There is another Amazon UK Link with detailed specs on it.
This is definitely Chinese version and will not work in UK.
• Frequency: 2G: GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz;3G: TD-SCDMA:1800-1920 /2010-2025MHz; WCDMA: 850/900/1900/2100MHz;4G: TD-LTE: 2570-2620/1880-1920/2300-2400MHz; FDD-LTE:2100/1800/2600MHz

TD is time division, which only used as GSM (2G) network in EU. GSM is basically an overhyped TDMA standard. The only reason it exists in the first place is to save costs upgrading from analog to digital. 3G and 4G in EU do not use TD, they use FD - frequency division. I don't think there are any phones with TD technology approved by Ofcom.

The way I see it is selling Chinese version on OnePlus One is illegal. Since Ofcom or anyone else will not bother policing sale of products you can still buy them, but no respectable supplier will ever sell one. If you see Amazon backing up sale of OnePlus One (fulfilled by Amazon) this will be official version of the phone and not Chinese one.

Amazon.co.uk - they even had an offer on the other day... check. Might be sold out now.

I highly recommend staying away from OnePlus One.

1. I don't see European 4G support in its spec
Specs indicate no 800Mhz band support, which is what needed for Europe. It seems to include necessary US bands, but I'm not sure if all carriers are covered.

2. There seems to be a lot of Chinese fakes or knock off. Amazon UK missing phone specs completely and had zero reviews.
Amazon US has different specs from official ones. WCDMA: 850/2100MHZ ???
FDD-LTE: 1800/2100/2600MHZ
Looks like some Chinese version. Bands are defined on hardware level - there is no way of telling what else is different between Amazon and official version.
If you read reviews most people complaining of phone not working in US, which can only indicate a Chinese knock off.
