New Opera Mobile browsers about to land

Nicely coinciding with our guide to better mobile browsing, Opera's browser gurus have just released Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11. Find out about the difference between mini and mobile on the Choose Opera Blog, and type www.mini.opera.com into your phone's browser to start downloading. Oh, and no iPhone version, yet.

I just had a chance to play with Opera Mini 6 on a Nokia C7, and it works quite nicely. The UI is very fast and buttery smooth - makes you think there is still some life in Symbian given the right software developers!
Caution ===>>> Opera Mini 6 will overwrite your old OM 5!!! So make sure you sync your bookmarks and speed dials first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's how OM6 renders Mobot. Not bad for the C7's screensize and resolution http://s3.amazonaws.com/twitpic/photos/full/262183203.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJF3XCCKACR3QDMOA&Expires=1300798304&Signature=FoeRXoP7IzLBmYh28A7DCKX%2FJw0%3D

whoa... didn't notice at first, but Opera Mini 6 has pinch-to-zoom, and there seems to be a plan for making it flash-capable => going to youtube with OM 6 I clicked on a video and the option to start "the beta flash player" popped up. Hm...nothing happened, but I only get 2G here. Anyone else tried it?
