Oppo has laid claim to a few titles recently, with the former world’s thinnest smartphone (Oppo Finder), and what we’re told is the "thinnest quad-core smartphone" (Oppo Find5 X990).
Now we’re hearing word of an Oppo Find5 phablet with a 5in display and frankly stupid PPI. Poor barrybarryk won’t be happy.
Rumoured Oppo Find5 phablet specs include a 5in display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Plug those figures into a DPI/PPI calculator and you get – wait for it – 441 PPI.
That, of course, is significantly higher than the iPhone 4S (326 PPI), Nokia Lumia 920 (332 PPI), and the current market leaders – the Sony Xperia S and HTC Rezound (342 PPI).
The Oppo Find5 phablet processor is tipped to be of the Qualcomm S4 APQ8064 quad-core variety, and it’s thought to have a non-removable battery, while running Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).
Will we see the Oppo Find5 phablet over here? Nah, wouldn’t have thought so.
