Orange offering combined iPhone 4 and iPad 2 bundle

Orange offering combined iPhone 4 and iPad 2 bundleOrange is now offering a combined tariff for customers looking to grab both an iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

There’s just one tariff, weighing in at £65 per month and offering 600 minutes, unlimited texts and a modest 2GB of data. You also get “unlimited” (i.e. 10GB) use of BT’s Openzone Wi-Fi.

There are six combinations of the 16 & 32GB iPhone 4, and 16, 32 & 64GB iPad 2, starting at £99 for the smallest models and rising to £299 for the largest. As such, you’re looking at £1,659 to £1,859 over the course of the contract.

The offer is free for existing Orange customers. New customers will have to pay a bonus £50. Ouch.

The offer isn’t available online, but you can pop into your local Orange Shop or call free on 0800 079 0428.

Phones4U are doing something similar with the BlackBerry Curve 9300 and the PlayBook

Jesus wept.

£1600 over two years on a phone and a tablet. I wonder how much the two items would cost you through these shop/agents that sell you an item on credit that you have to pay back over two years?
