No... seems impossible to get the parts. Seems I may have to "try" a One X after all :p

CPW manager reckons the battery life is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllly sucky, though.

Pondlife  Apr. 13, 2012 at 13:47

Treab  Apr. 13, 2012 at 13:48

Get the S then.
Battery life is supposedly quite good on that, and actually performs better in real life (not thse benchmark thingies) as it hasn't got all that screen real estate to be managing.

mrew, I had the HTC One S for 4 days, and I'm very tempted to buy one. Very satisfying little device. And battery was okay given it's speed and the nice big screen...
But I'm in no big rush, actually.

On a side note, did anyone ever manage to buy those elusive HP Pre 3's for 49 pounds to go with their bargain basement tablets?

Pondlife  Apr. 13, 2012 at 17:37

Got neither.
Does look a nice toy but rather a dead end

No, cheapest I know is €149 from an Irish tech retailer...
