With Apple's WWDC, the Windows Phone Summit, and now Google I/O firmly behind us, things are prettaaaaaay slow in ye olde mobile world.
As such, we’re reaching far and wide for news juice, and South Korea is telling us all about the spanking new Pantech Vega S5 smartphone. It sounds not bad.
Pantech Vega S5 specs include a 5in 720p IPS display, LTE, a Snapdragon S4 processor, and – the major talking point – a 13MP rear camera.
Other Pantech Vega S5 specs include Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), and Smart Voice – Pantech’s answer to Siri.
Pantech is particularly proud of the Vega S5’s bezel, claiming that it’s the thinnest in the 4-5in range.
South Koreans can pre-order the Pantech Vega S5 from Wednesday, July 4, with the release taking place at some point later in the month.
However, there are no plans for an international release for the Pantech Vega S5 as it stands. Gutted?
