Haven't used the HTC Sensation much. The Samsung Galaxy SII has good office suite/pdf/file explorer etc... re email: you oughta be aware that Android isn't RIM or Nokia! The default email client is - still - pretty pathetic...heck, annoying is the word. But apps such as 'Enhanced Email' and others can get you over many bumps.

Having said that, the Galaxy SII is a bit of a stinker when it comes to sticking to WiFi. So, if that is an issue, avoid.

How bout a Nokia X7? Better email, better wifi/antenna performance, nice 4'' screen, better battery life. I know...sorry ;)

grrr! you knew that would send me into a spin!
Thanks for the advice but im not going to be a heavy business user and these two phones fit my main uses. I think the tie-breaker will be the business aspect!

Been on nokia til now and its time for a change!

The business aspect itself can encompass a lot of aspects (sub-aspects? :p).

I'd say if you're going to be out and about a lot with it, the Galaxy S II would be the wiser choice as its screen is dead-easy to read in direct sunlight, whereas the SLCD on the Sensation is not very good in bright light. On the flipside, the Sensation has arguably better build quality so is likely to withstand bumps and knocks better than the Galaxy.

On apps, I'm pretty sure the Sensation also comes with an Office-esque type app (not exactly sure what it is), but Quickoffice and the likes are available for both. I've never had a problem with the email widget on HTC Sense too, I just forward both my mailboxes into one and have that displaying on the widget.

I hear ya... The Galaxy SII is not bad. I'd think the Sensation is a tad sturdier build-wise. Otherwise?
I like that the Samsung has a file explorer out of the box. And the Polaris office Suite is pretty cool for a phone suite.

S2 is world phone and will work in North America. Sensation will only have GSM in Americas. If you plan to travel HTC is not a good buy.
