Do any phones come with a "clean" version of Android?

Are there any Android phones without tailored UIs? Is there such a thing as plain Android?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Google/Samsung Nexus S, Google Nexus One.

Many phones can be hacked to run a stock version of Android.

I don't think I know of a phone which can't run stock Android and there are loads of step-by-step guides to putting a "clean" version of Android on any phone (particularly on XDA's site).

Some Motorola phones have locked (and still unhacked), bootloaders AFAIK. They can't run any custom ROMs, unfortunately :(.

That's fair enough. My Sensation had a locked bootloader, but unlocking it was a doddle :)

I think a lot of the US Motorola phones have encrypted bootloaders so they're a b*tch to flash a custom ROM to. I'm so glad the networks here in the UK are less "Apple-esque", than the obsessive controlling carriers in the US.
