Which phones are best for driving directions?

Which phones are best for driving directions? Android? Windows Phone? Apple iPhone?

Windows Phone. Nokia's Lumias to be specific. Regularly updated maps for offline use etc...
If other specs don't matter, I suppose the Lumia 625. Cheap with a big screen.

I didn't rate Nokia's mapping when I've used it though, especially abroad.

Just as well it was a hire car I'd not have driven one I liked down most of the routes it took.

I just use Google Maps Navigation and a £5 windscreen mount for the Note 2 when I'm driving the Mrs' car. It works perfectly well here in the UK as it buffers the map data ahead of needing it, so you can lose your internet connection for a while and it still works fine. If you were heading into the absolute middle of nowhere it might not be so good though.

Tom Tom for Android is bloody expensive, Treab!
