Pinterest comes to iPad and Android

Pinterest comes to iPad and AndroidYou all know Pinterest, right? The social networking thing with the pinning of the pictures and the interests and the what have you?

Well, Pinterest has been kicking it on the iPhone for a while, and now it’s finally made the leap to the iPad, and – as if that wasn’t exciting enough – Android smartphones and tablets. Yay and stuff!

The iPhone Pinterest app, now on version 2.0, introduces a new two-column layout that lets users see more, alongside performance and stability improvements.

The spanking new Android Pinterest app, meanwhile, is optimised to work well on both smartphones and tablets – “regardless of your device’s cost, speed or screen size.”

Finally, there’s the iPad app, which “may have the best Pinterest experience yet”, according to the official Pinterest blog.

You can download the Pinterest app for free from the App Store and Google Play. Minimum requirements are iOS 5.0 and Android 2.2 (Froyo) respectively.
