Could you play Xbox using the iPhone's wireless hotspot?

Has anyone tried playing Xbox over the iPhone's wireless hotspot? Would it be able to handle Call of Duty for example?

It works but I wouldn't recommend it, stick to your broadband connection :p. Also, I have no idea how much data it used up, this was back in the days of truly unlimited data plans.

I've tried before on my HTC Desire and it would drop out every 10 minutes or so. When it was up, it was fairly brisk, but I didn't try gaming on it, because that's just asking for trouble (your ping would probably be around the 100 mark, which is bad news).

I was getting killed on CoD before I'd even seen anyone begin to shoot on my screen, it was truly terrible.

Depends if you get good signal on your network where you are. On three I get a constant 6-11mbps download speed whilst tethering so it works great with my ps3. Ping isn't higher than 120 either. I know a guy on 02 who gets about 3-5mbps and he can use his Xbox fine. It just depends whether the connection is stable and fast enough.
