Polaroid snaps back with Android 4.0 tablet

Polaroid snaps back with Android 4.0 tabletHere's what you call reinvention - remember Polaroid? Those happy folk who gave us instant photos when digital cameras were something from sci-fi movies?

Well, they're back and moving into the tablet business with a 10-inch Android 3D model on the way. What's more, you won't even need glasses to use it.

The device rocks Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and gives us a 1024 x 768 resolution. Unusually, it's not widescreen but 4:3.

Inside, there's a 1.5GHx ARM-based processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a memory card reader supporting up to 32GB of additional space. A HDMI socket means 1080p HD video can be streamed.

More details to follow - but expect to pay a shade over £200 for yours.

Right up to the bit where it says 512mb ram...
.5 gig on ICS? oh dear.

That should be more than enough RAM for ICS. It's better Hardware than the Galaxy Nexus S which can run ICS fine.
