The HTC Titan Windows Phone with its gigantic (or should we say titanic) 4.7 inch screen is an exceptionally well-built device, especially its sturdy aluminum unibody design that feels high-quality in the hand. For you modders out there, however, Windows Phone 7 does not offer many customization options – but fret not, as the hardware itself is plenty customizable.
The back cover made of anodized aluminum, which is normally a very dark brown or grey, can be easily polished to make it shiny and look like chrome, as you can see in the photo. It definitely provides a nice contrast with the rest of the device.
So how do you do this, you're asking? Well, you'll need sandpaper with different grit sizes, depending on whether you want a rough or mirror-like finish, and at least two hours of time. Of course, all plastic pieces on the Titan must be covered up to prevent them from getting scratches.
